Dear diary, 

God, where do I even begin? I’m already having so much fun, that it’s kind of hard figuring out what to talk about first! I guess we’ll start with Day 1.

My RNF15 experience started with a cute little email from Kat. I had been waiting all weekend for the game to start, so I was thrilled to see that checkins had started. From there, I went to the board, admired its Bubbatape aesthetic, and immediately started looking at what reps I’d be playing with this season. I was a bit surprised to see how awful everyone’s taste in BB players is, but hey! I’m going into this experience with an open mind. I might hate RL Mad Luna, but RNF Mad Luna could be a doll. You never know. 

Anyway, after looking my competition up and down, I went ahead and made my AIM account. For the first time in months, AIM decided it wanted to cooperate me, so it didn’t take hours to successfully make an account like it normally does. That was nice! From there, I posted in the checkin thread, not being particularly picky about my number, and ended up signing on to talk with the few people that had checked in before me. At that point, it was only Frankie, Meg, Vic, and Michelle Visage. 

Honestly? What a group. 

I immediately message Michelle, because the fact that she’s chilling in a group that mainly consists of people from BB18 and BB4 is hilarious to me. We ended up talking about how excited we are for Halloween and how we’re equally excited for the game to start, and I’m left with a positive impression. I like her a lot. We actually haven’t talked much since we introduced ourselves, but she recently told me that she’s been in love with Dua Lipa lately, and that’s kind of a game changer for me. I gravitate towards people I can fawn over music with. 

After talking with Michelle for a bit, I decide to bite the bullet and talk to Frankie. I braced myself for whatever played up version of the social media mogul that I was about to experience, but I was pleasantly surprised! He’s not too bad. He had just gotten into work when we first started talking, so I didn’t get to talk with him a whole lot that first day, but since then I’d say we’ve hit it off! He’s representing Frankie well, which I guess is both a compliment and an insult? 

I ended up talking to Meg during that first hour or so as well. She’s interesting! If you don’t respond for a few minutes, you can tell she’s afraid of the conversation dying because she’ll rephrase something that she’s basically already said. It’s kind of cute. 

As I was making my rounds, I happened to notice a certain long haired beauty in the corner. It was Victor, who may as well be a human stallion. I immediately started thinking of what our kids would look like, what my parents would think of him, and how well he’d probably treat me. I mean, there’s really only so much can go wrong when you’ve got buns like that, right?

I want to die.

Anyway, I ogle for a bit. It’s innocent, I swear. I ended up saying hi, hoping he’d be as interesting in the personality department as he was in the trunk, but alas, he wasn’t. I’m disappointed, because the only thing I gained from talking to Victor in the short time that I did was the realization that he seems like the type of guy to say, “Haha, and then what?” in a text conversation. Barf. 

And then I took a nap, because after that short hour of socialization, I deserved it! 

I ended up waking up to nearly everyone being checked in, which was great because I was READY to socialize. I get friendly with Jee and Jun, who have, like, well over ten years worth of history together or something. Then I get to talking to Kalia, who is sweet as pie. Corey eventually showed up and asked me questions like “What is Thai food?” and “Who is Milla Jovovich?”, so I’m interested to see what other stupid questions are in store for me throughout the season. 

Eventually, Day 1 came to close. I felt pumped and ready for the first HOH, which would end up being posted the morning after.

Then, Day 2 started. I wake up bright and early to find out what our first challenge is going to be, and it seems pretty simple. I just have to distribute heart and shit emojis to ten different people, and hope that I’ve been social enough with people for them to want to keep me around, but not enough to make them make me the first HOH. Seems easy enough!

…Except this first competition also happened to come with a list of twists we have this season. I’m not very excited for any of them! Target twists stress me out because I’m always afraid of how seriously people will take them, and the MVP twist adds a certain level of anonymity that I am NOT looking forward to, unless I happen to win MVP one week, in which case, I welcome it with open arms. 

I can’t complain TOO much, though. Anything is better than Battle of the Block. #JusticeForNaeha

I then spent the rest of the Day 2 getting to know my fellow cast members. I’ve introduced myself to everyone except Erika, even those creepy old dudes named Adam and Boogie. There’s obviously a lot of work to be done, because a good portion of my conversations with people have lasted less than 5 minutes, but I have time to improve! 

Overall, I’d say my standout relationships right now are the ones I have with Kalia, Frankie, Jun, and Meg. I’d really like to expand on all of them a bit more over the next few days, as well as get to know Michelle, Loveita, and Mad Luna a bit more.

It seems like history is repeating itself. The boys this season suck. Now, I'm not normally the type of person to preach faux girl power in a cast that most likely consists of more gay men than actual girls, but jeez! Is there some correlation between choosing a male rep for RNF and being a boring conversationalist? I think it's a study worth conducting. Steve, Nick, and now Frankie can be excluded it.

I'm sorry for neglecting you! I'm going to try and make a video confessional on Sunday to summarize my thoughts on the game so far. For now, all you need to know is that me, Frankie, Jun, and Kalia are in a cute little alliance, and that Victor leaving was probably more satisfying than it should have been.

Alright, so a slight change in plans! I’m looking like a straight up mess today, so I’m gonna hold off on the video confessional. However, I’m feeling a lot less burnt out on writing than I was earlier this week, and I figure it’s about time I catch you up on what’s been on my mind lately. 

We’ll start with Kalia winning HOH. I don’t think I ever covered that! I was pretty pumped that she won. She had already told me I was one of her favorite people to talk to, and basically told me I had nothing to worry about. Now, I’ve been told something like this before, and ended up feeling like a fool for believing them, but with it being the first round, I didn’t really see a reason for Kalia to lie to me. So, I went into the round feeling pretty comfortable. I only needed to worry about whoever the MVP was, and considering the fact that I had no idea who had me as their target, it seemed a bit counterproductive to lose sleep over the possibility of someone anonymously putting me up. It ended up not mattering anyway, because Victor went up shortly after, and everyone seemed kind of surprised by that. 

Afterwards, veto was played. Jun managed to get randomly selected and won the competition, and to no one’s surprise except Victor’s, she didn’t use it. I genuinely have no idea what he was expecting from her. It’s the first round, and her using it would really only make people suspicious of what kind of deal was made between her and whoever she may have taken off. He went off in the cast chat about how she didn’t even give him time to make a case, but what case was there really to make at that point? Everyone was still getting to know each other, and there’s really not a whole lot that he could have promised that would actually be beneficial to her. It just made him look unnecessarily aggressive, and I think it rubbed people the wrong way.

From there, the nominees stayed in place. Everyone that wasn’t on the block had a fairly low stake decision to make. Tiffany seemed like the very likely first boot, considering the fact that she hadn’t really gotten to talk to everyone right away, and also the fact that she was going around stirring up fake alliance suspicion. According to Kalia, she had tried suggesting that me, Kalia, Jun, and Meg were in a “social girls” alliance. I mean, that WOULD have been a pretty cute alliance, but it definitely wasn’t something that had been created. Tiffany thought that the only reason Kalia put her up was because she was her target, which is kind of hilariously delusional? I don’t know. I find Tiffany really funny, even when her antics involve vaguely throwing me under the bus. She’s just very aggressive in the way she talks game. She didn’t have the subtlety that Michelle had when campaigning, but she was definitely making a better case for herself than Victor was, simply by ACTUALLY making a case. 

For someone that complained that Jun didn’t give him the opportunity to convince her to take him off the block, he really did virtually no campaigning with a majority of the cast. I wasn’t expecting a deal to be thrown my way, but I feel like it’s common courtesy to at least ask me what way I’m voting when you’re on the block? Like, you can’t just expect me to vote to keep you, especially when you’re one of the resident conversation killers. He just seemed so comfortable, and I think that made a lot of people paranoid, myself included.

Right after noms were finalized, Frankie and I ended up bonding over that paranoia. We were both deeply afraid that Victor had found himself an alliance, because otherwise, why would he straight up avoid campaigning? It didn’t help that everyone that was discussing the vote with us had mentioned that they were sure Victor would end up staying, and talking him up as this really social beast that happened to be a lot of fun to talk to. Frankie and I just didn’t see the appeal, and felt like there was something that we were missing. In our conversations with him, Victor barely spoke two words, so why were people like Meg and Mad Luna raving about him in the way that they did? 

We kind of started to freak out. Had something big formed without us knowing? We felt really excluded from what was happening, and were afraid that in the span of just a few days, we had been placed on the outs. We eventually realize that Kalia and Jun feel the same as we do, and shortly before the deadline, we get a group together. Bonded by a distrust of Victor, the #VictorEvictionParty alliance was formed, and boy does it feel good to finally have a group of people that potentially have my back moving forward.

Eventually, the deadline arrives and the votes are revealed. Turns out, the paranoia over Victor was a bit excessive, considering the fact that only one person voted to save him. Oops. But hey! It brought a group together, and it’s one that seems promising. Things seem to be going well for me, until…

Dear Diary,

It's kind of hilarious how I stumbled my way into winning two HOHs last season when I've been this disastrously bad at competitions so far. I went into this thinking it might be smart to be a little less competitive and avoid putting myself into power early on, but I don't even think I really need to do that? I'm just naturally doing that terrible.

Anyway, I had an awkward interaction with Tiffany last night. I guess she was trying to figure out who the votes to save her were last round, and I think since I was pretty optimistic about her staying, she had assumed I was one of them? I had to break the news to her that I actually voted Michelle, and it was such an uncomfortable conversation. I feel kind of bad, because I think she genuinely likes me, but at the same time this is the girl that was apparently trying to fear monger while she was on the block? She's somewhat intimidating, to be honest.

Second place actually feels pretty good? Don't quote me on that when I make it to the end, but with this veto I'm actually pretty proud of how I did! I was convinced that I completely bombed the competition.

Now, it's time to be everyone's best friend. I'm not sure if Frankie is going to use the veto, and I wouldn't fault him for it if he didn't, but I need to make sure I don't suffer the same fate Victor did.

Dear diary, 

Surviving the block wasn't too hard this time around! It helped that I was put up next to a crash test dummy. I have mixed feelings towards the amount of votes that I got! On one hand, I'm glad people like me enough to keep me around. On the other, I am afraid people will see me as too social, and having that label attached to you this early on can be dangerous. I think I might need to start branching out in terms of alliances, because I want my bases to be covered a bit more than they currently are. People might like talking to me, but I need them to also like the idea of working with me, y'know? 

I am feeling pretty good with Mad Luna as the HOH. I might regret saying that considering the fact that he gave me my key last, but he seems fond of me! I'm fine with his nominations, but I'm definitely all about getting Boogie out this week. I barely ever see him on, and I am fully convinced that I'd be one of his nominees if he wins HOH.

We have a lot to catch up on!



Let's start with...



ROUND 3



It was a pretty easy week! Mad Luna put Michelle and Adam on the block. I was surprised by him letting Boogie slide, but I guess Mad Luna is one of the few people Boogie talks to during the 20 minutes he logs on AIM evey three days. Thankfully, the MVP put him up, and I thought the person I hadn't spoken to in a week would be up and out the door with no problems.



Then, veto players were picked. Michelle got to choose who she wanted to play with her and ended up picking me. I decided to take a liiiiittle bit longer on the competition, mainly because I was afraid Michelle would expect me to take her off if I won, but it ended up not mattering anyway because she ended up going inactive. That seems like a pretty common theme with the evictees so far! Adam won veto, Tiffany went up in his place, and really all that needed to be decided was if I was saving Boogie or if I was saving Tiffany.



The decision was pretty simple. Boogie never made any effort to approach me about the vote while he was up on the block, and it wasn't as if the two of us were never online at the same time. To be fair, we hadn't really talked about the vote when I was on the block the round prior. Him and I simply don't talk, and as crazy as Tiffany can be, I'm not about to burn a bridge with her in favor of someone I don't talk to.



Then, I flopped.



I ended up getting the deadline messed up and didn't vote. This prevented me from participating in the follwoing HOH competition, which really sucked. However, I wasn't about to let it discourage me.



ROUND 4


Shortly after Michelle was evicted, I took action and followed up with Corey about a few things we had been casually talking about last round. We had expressed interest in working with each other, and he had also mentioned that he was a fan of Jee and Jun. This sounded like the perfect foursome to me, because I was already fond of Jee and had already been in an alliance with Jun. I said I was down for a group of us four, and from there, we talked to Jee and Jun about it. The two of them seemed interested, and it was decided that we would move forward together.



I ended up telling Kalia and Frankie afterwards, because I consider the two of them to be my priority (along with Jun, obviously) when it comes to my allies. I didn't want any under the table deals getting exposed down the line. This could have easily been a mistake, but I made this decision as a way of hopefully solidifying trust. I tried my best to make it seem as though I pieced together for the sake of our group, but I'm not entirely sure how convincing I was. Only time will tell if it actually works.



While all of this was happening, Tiffany was off trying to get something together with Jun. She wants a trio of us to stick together, and now I'm suddenly apart of three alliances with Jun. I don't mind, though. She's a lot of fun! However, I'm a little wary of this alliance with TIffany. I do think that she genuinely likes me, but her hatred of Kalia is a conflict of interest. She also tends to get on peoples' nerves, so I'm unsure if I'm willing to stick my neck out for her if it comes down to it.



With two new alliances being made, I was feeling good...for about two hours. As the end of the HOH competition approached, it was down to Corey, Jun, Kalia, and Boogie. 3/4 of these people were people I was aligned with, so I was feeling pretty comfortable. However, Boogie had a strong lead, and that made me really nervous. Him winning was a worst case scenario, so of course he ends up being the one to pull through and win.



I have a feeling me and Frankie are going up. Frankie hasn't been around much and is apparently Boogie's target, and Boogie and I don't have a strong relationship in the slightest. I just need this week to be over. I'm so close to beating my former placement, and I think I'm capable of thriving as long as I make it past this point in the game.



As far as who I love/hate, I'm really loving Kalia and Jun. They're my girls, and conversations with them are probably the easiest. I'm also really fond of Frankie, he's just been a bit busy lately. Oh, and I really like Mad Luna! We haven't talked much game, and I'm not sure if we ever will, but I always enjoy my conversations with him. Same with Adam! Honestly, I like just about everyone that talks. Erika and Boogie are probably my least favorites. I never see them around, and even when they are, my conversations with them don't really go anywhere. I don't know. By no means do I hate them, I would just prefer that they leave already, and I'm a little miffed that both of them are guaranteed a spot in jury.



I haven't really made any official Final 2 deals yet, but my game relationship with Jun seems to be the strongest. I could definitely see the two of us in the end together, it's all just a matter of whether or not I find her a threat to my game down the line.



I'll try to think of a story soon! Things have been kinda quiet/gamebot-y lately.

Dear diary,  

It's official. Me, Frankie, and Tiffany are the final nominees.  

I went into this round feeling okay. I obviously didn't WANT to be on the block, and I definitely didn't want Frankie up there with me, but Kalia managed to win the MVP competition and things were looking promising. She put Tiffany on the block next to us, and while I was kind of bummed that I was next to two people I was technically aligned with, I was willing to sacrifice Tiffany if it meant Frankie and I could stay.  

Regardless, I really wanted to win veto to guarantee that there was no chance of me going this week. Going out during the last week of pre-jury and the first week that votes actually matter would be tragic, and taking myself off the block before people can even consider saving anyone other than me was obviously the goal. However, Boogie managed to pull through AGAIN and win veto. I'm starting to get really frustrated with his general existence. Him and Erika being the most inactive people in the cast and still managing to be immune for the week kills me.  

Originally, Tiffany was going to try and get Boogie to use the veto on me so he could guarantee that Frankie goes home. That entire conversation with her was completely confusing, because I have no idea why she thought he'd use it on me after he literally put me up. Plus, if she has that kind of pull with him, why not convince it to use it on her? Then she could be off the block AND be a vote for me to stay this round. I'm also not entirely sure why she'd still want Frankie out if she happened to be off the block, because he was one of the only people to save her and him leaving would only benefit Boogie. I'm wondering if she has some type of deal with Boogie, because that's the only way her logic would make sense to me.  

Anyway, Boogie ended up not using the veto at all and the noms stayed the same. I am really, really nervous about this round. People keep telling me I'm good, and I don't think anyone is intentionally targetting me, but if people put all of their focus on splitting the votes between Tiffany and Frankie, I'm going to end up going home on accident...which would suck.  

I'm a bit worried about Corey and Jee too. They seem more interested in Frankie leaving than Tiffany, and while that's perfectly valid, I have this gut feeling they might try to vote for Tiffany, thinking that Frankie would leave instead. It's a move like that that could end up sending me home.  

So, I've kind of put aside any preference in Tiffany or Frankie leaving. I'm looking out for myself, and if that means stealing a few of their votes, then that's what's gotta happen. Kalia has already told me she's willing to vote me if things look dire, and Mad Luna said the same. I don't know. I'm just really not ready to go home yet.

Deary diary,  

So, suspicions confirmed! Corey cannot be trusted. He decided to switch his vote to Tiffany last minute, and before me, Kalia, and Jun could do anything about it, Frankie was pretty much doomed. Without Corey's vote, there was no way for both me and Frankie to stay. It was kind of devastating, to be honest. Like, I'm obviously able to acknowledge that Frankie's activity had been declining, but the fact that someone even worse in the activity department was given power as a result of his departure sucks. Boogie continues to survive week after week despite almost never being around, and I'm tired of it. We're in the jury phase of the game and I don't have time for people that log on AIM for less than 20 minutes every few days.  

It doesn't even matter this week, though. Since people opted to eliminate Frankie, Boogie gets to be Co-HOH this week. Of course. Apparently, he was originally going to put me on the block, but the second Jun mentioned that she was putting Adam up, he decided to go with Erika instead. I think him and Adam definitely have something going on. I think the reason Erika is on the block this week is because Boogie knows I would probably stay over Adam, and he'd much rather sacrifice the chance at having a relationship with Erika than let his ally walk out the door.  

It doesn't seem like Erika's taking it lightly. She had a bit of a blowup in the house chat after nominations were posted, and watching the two of them argue was probably the most hilarious thing that's happened in the game so far. Erika was bringing up a deal made two weeks ago and dragging Boogie for his inactivity, and everything about it was just so funny. It's the most I've seen either of them talk in the past three weeks.  

I'd really like nominations to stay the same this week. I think getting rid of Adam might be a smart way of taking a jab at Boogie since he can't be nominated this week. Plus, keeping Erika around ensures that there's one more person targetting Boogie next week, and that's the shit I like. Plus, if worst comes to worst, we only lose Erika. Oh, and I don't go on the block, which is an even bigger plus.
