Inside Dish Mike "Boogie" Malin | 8th Place

Hello and welcome to Inside Dish. Tonight, during the live fast forward round, Mike “Boogie” Malin was evicted by an unanimous vote of 4-0. From the very beginning of this game, Boogie surprised us all, having tight connections with the right people and holding his own in competitions to offset his lack of conversing with some of the other houseguests. After Jun won the HOH and nominated him and Jee this week, it seemed for sure Jee was either going to be evicted, or he was going to walk straight out the front door. In a surprising upset, Jee won the Power of Veto, leaving Boogie on the block next to Tiffany. Boogie played a good game, especially considering that if I'm not mistaken, this is his first AIM based game, and he got a lot farther than I think some of the other houseguests would have thought.

I was granted the opportunity to temporarily fill in as an Inside Dish host. They took a poll on who everyone wanted to see host the show this week, and after the top six all said no, it finally came to me. Ika has been stressed lately, and tonight she is off pampering herself with Green Tea, Sushi, and the latest NOW That’s What I Call Music! album.

Thank you so much for joining me today, boogie . Coming from one of your fans of the season, it’s nice to finally meet you. The group at Inside Dish have some questions for you, and it’d fill me up with happiness if you could answer them.

boog : Welcome my fellow Boog(ie)! Fast Forwards can be a stressful time and we saw you ending up being evicted during it. Do you think things would have went differently had you been able to get more time to possibly avoid nomination/eviction?

ika : Walk us through your head after Jee pulls himself down and Jun puts Tiffany up in his place. Do you think you have a shot to stay? What was your campaign to people?


steve  Hindsight is such a powerful tool, looking back, do you regret evicting Corey over Kalia?

ika : You are a member of the jury so what are some things that you take into consideration when casting your vote for a winner? Is there anyone you would vote for in a heartbeat? & on the flip side, anyone you would never vote for?

Love you man! We never really talked much, but this decision was purely based on the fact that you're a beast at endurance comps and would definitely kick my ass if you were to stay.

I'm sorry to vote for you man, but this is what I heard the girls were doing so I really just have to blend in at this point. Tiffany is my closest ally left in the game and I think we both only have each other at this point. I think your biggest mistake was voting Corey out of this game. We always trusted you guys much more than the girls. We really could have ran with this. I'm probably going to be seeing you here soon.

Sorry I didn't get to these questions until now.

Welcome my fellow Boog(ie)! Fast Forwards can be a stressful time and we saw you ending up being evicted during it. Do you think things would have went differently had you been able to get more time to possibly avoid nomination/eviction?

It might have been possible to get more votes to stay if I had more time because I would have had time to get a proper plan together and maybe show what value I could be to these people's games but they decided to evict me. I was mad at about it at first because I didn't think it was smart for them but I can't be mad forever.

Walk us through your head after Jee pulls himself down and Jun puts Tiffany up in his place. Do you think you have a shot to stay? What was your campaign to people?

I thought I had a chance to stay against Jee. He seemed to have given up in the game and I thought I could have beaten him. When Tiffany went up I knew that Jun would have wanted me out so that a couple of the girls would have done it. I didn't think Kalia was going to use a vote nullifier to get me out when I thought her and I were pretty good allies but she was just aligned with the girls all along.

Hindsight is such a powerful tool, looking back, do you regret evicting Corey over Kalia?

Yes. Mad Luna really wanted to keep her and I trusted the judgement of my ally. I liked her then but I was blind I guess. Lol

Do you think anyone made a mistake in evicting you?

I think it was smart for everybody except Jee and Kalia. Jee is close with Tiffany I think so not so much him but I trusted Kalia a lot. If Mad Luna evicted me too, then it was not smart for him but I don't think he did since I am pretty sure Kalia cancelled out his vote.

Do you have any regrets?

I don't have any regrets. It was a fun game and I can't be too mad about how things went down. I am very busy and although it was fun, I just knew I couldn't make it all the way with my busy schedule.

You are a member of the jury so what are some things that you take into consideration when casting your vote for a winner? Is there anyone you would vote for in a heartbeat? & on the flip side, anyone you would never vote for?

I would vote for Mad Luna over most of them probably. I just think he is playing an honest game and unless I found out he evicted me, he would get my vote. I am not bitter even though I might sound it, I just respect loyalty. I don't think people like Meg or Jee really deserve to win. Kalia would have a hard time getting my vote.

What was your favourite moment in the game?

My favorite moment was when I won the HOH and I think everybody freaked out because they did not know what I was going to do. I like being unpredictable but I also was able to make close bonds during that time. I don't think I would have made it much further without it. I would have been evicted that week I think. It was funny when Jun didn't take my deal and then she freaked out after. Lol

Did you enjoy playing this season? Is this something you feel you would want to do again someday?

I had a lot of fun even though I was not the most active houseguest. I think I would play again for sure sometime as long as I could get a better schedule. These would be better for me in the summer. Thanks for casting me.
